Pohutukawa Coast

I love to photograph the Pohutukawa Coast at the outskirts of Auckland, working across Beachlands, Maraetai, Duder, and Whitford. This is a personal project, close to home, following the same stretch of coastline as the light and the tides change.

I've been photographing this coast for years now, and I believe strongly in giving back to the community I'm part of. Each year, a selection of these images becomes an annual charity calendar, now in its tenth year, with copies sent all over the world. It's grown into one of my favourite parts of the year, a chance to celebrate the nature around me while raising money for a cause I care about.
